INFRARED THERAPY SAUNA

Unlike a traditional sauna, infrared saunas don’t heat the air around you. Instead, they use infrared lamps (that use electromagnetic radiation) to warm your body directly. The Infrared Sauna uses infrared panels instead of conventional heat to easily penetrate human tissue, heating up your body before heating up the air. An infrared sauna can operate at a lower temperature (usually between 120˚F and 140˚F) than a traditional sauna, which is typically between 150˚F and 180˚F.

EUCALYPTUS DRY STEAM SAUNA

A dry sauna uses dry heat from a heater within the sauna and takes advantage of the heat conductivity of the wood construction. A steam sauna heats water to create pressurized steam that is released into the enclosed structure sauna room. The temperature in a dry sauna can range from 150°F to 195°F (65.6°C to 90.6°C) with the higher end being more of the average temperature If you’re doing more than one sauna session at a time, make sure to step out of the sauna and give your body a cool down period before getting back in. Vitality also offers Plunge Pools and a Waterfall Shower in our Pool Area to assist in your cool down period.

Vitality’s Dry Steam Sauna is also infused with the essential oils of Eucalyptus, because Eucalyptus oil has natural antimicrobial, antioxidant and anti-fungal properties. In addition Eucalyptus clears your chest and opens the lungs to allow deeper and more oxygenated breathing.
